After Death, What Happens
After death, what happens?
Your heart ceases to beat. The brain freezes. Your liver and kidneys stop working, among other crucial organs. These organs also shut down, rendering all of your body’s systems—which were previously able to sustain the ongoing processes known as, simply, living—incapable of doing so. Most people feel sleepy and may gradually lose consciousness as their organs start to shut down. The body will eventually stop functioning because of the heart and lungs. Breathing habits alter. Breathing patterns can change, either slowly or quickly. The heart stops pumping. Your mind goes blank. Your liver and kidneys stop functioning as well as other crucial organs. These organs also shut down, rendering all of your body’s systems incapable of continuing the ongoing processes known as, simply, living. The next organs to stop working are the brain and the lungs, even when vascular collapse is the initial event. The heart is the final organ to break down. PEA does not cause cardiac arrest; the heart stops after it. When the heart reaches asystole, or cardiac arrest, the heart finally stops (Figure 1).
After we die, where will we go?
People will stand before God for judgment on the Day of Resurrection as their souls are transferred to new bodies. The reward for having faith in God and pleasing him through good deeds is Heaven, or paradise, where they will spend all of eternity. Hell will punish those who have disobeyed God. After the body passes away and the soul is judged, according to the Catholic view of the afterlife, those who are good and sinless are allowed to enter Heaven. Those who pass away in mortal sin, however, and do not repent, are damned. The majority of Hindus, Muslims, and Christians believe in heaven. Some religions teach that heaven is the final resting place for those who have lived good lives, while others teach that it is a temporary residence between rebirths. Still other religions teach that heaven is a state of being that people can strive to achieve during this life.Entry into heaven without first dying is considered exceptional and is typically an indication of a deity’s special recognition of the person’s piety since death is the normative end to an individual’s life on Earth and the beginning of the afterlife.
Do you spend eternity in heaven?
After the final judgment, it is anticipated that the righteous will receive eternal life and live forever on a Earth that has been transformed into a paradise, leaving the rest of humanity behind. Heaven grants absolute immortality, meaning that those who have it are unaffected by death at all. They would be impervious to death even from God. The soul will be transferred to a new body on the Day of the Resurrection, and people will stand before God to receive judgment. Heaven, also known as paradise, is the place where those who have believed in God and have pleased him through good deeds will spend all of eternity. Hell will serve as punishment for those who have disobeyed God.The soul reincarnates after passing away and assumes a different physical form or body. Each soul is on a journey of spiritual development as they move from one life to the next, which is aided in part by karma, the idea that every thought and action has a corresponding reaction.
